In 1989, Yvette moved to Dallas to study advertising at Southern Methodist University where she was involved with planning events as a member of
Chi Omega. Following SMU,Yvette worked for the famed Pappas Restaurants and became the General Manager of Pappas Catering. This is where she caught the wedding bug!
After more than 15 years of success in the special event industry, Yvette decided to use her skills, education, and creativity to benefit the clients of Premier Special Events, which quickly became known for amazing weddings. Yvette continues to plan unique and personal weddings, but believes that all brides deserve to have the day of their dreams- planner or not. From Now to Vow will launch in October 2011 to teach brides to plan like pros.
